About the IAHA National Professional Development Forum

The 2016 IAHA National Forum is a biennial event which provides a culturally safe space to enjoy a diverse range of interactive and thought-provoking workshops that will enhance your professional and personal journeys. Workshop topics have been chosen across a broad range of themes to provide opportunities to increase your knowledge and skills, within the context of improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and wellbeing.

Come along and join us in these practical, strengths-based workshops as we learn and develop together and move towards achieving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health equality.

Who Should Attend?

IAHA National Forums and events are leading professional development opportunities for all allied health professionals, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health professionals and health service providers.

The professional development workshops are designed for participants from any health profession, job role and sector. Interprofessional engagement with other participants, utilising the collective perspectives, strengths and attributes from across disciplines and sectors, will value add to learning experiences for all. So whether you work in health service delivery, management, policy, research or academia, there is something here for everyone.
