Sports Strapping, Kinesiology & Deload Taping Courses

• Sports Strapping
• Gripit Kinesiology Taping Method
• Gripit ACTIVETAPE Functional Deload Taping Method
No other courses will have presenters who both develop taping products AND that work in professional sports at the highest level as physiotherapists. Take advantage of this opportunity.

The most clinically relevant taping workshops in Australia. We educate and train you how and when tapes should be used unlike other courses (in particular kinesiology tape courses) who promote tapes as a fashion accessory as much as a tape for patient use. We will NOT entertain such approaches. We are completely clinically focussed!

RockBlades

The RockBades course presents an alternate model for IASTM work- what we define as "Instrument Assisted Neuro Sensory Modulation" or IANSM. This draws from current thinking of the way in which fascia behaves and the influence that manual therapy has on these tissues.
Our IANSM model does not rely on traditional, at times aggressive treatment strategies using instruments, and shows how similar, if not better, results can be achieved with more gentle methods. This enhances patient safety and minimises the potential for adverse treatment effects.

Integrative Breathing Therapy Practitioner Training-Level 1 Course

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATIONS ENDS 28th July
Why Breathing Matters in Your Practice?
Practitioners from many disciplines including osteopathy, chiropractic, physiotherapy, dentistry, psychology and integrative medicine are becoming increasingly aware that breathing has a big impact on structural development, muscular-skeletal, physiological and neurological function and that optimizing breathing can be the key to treatment success.
Dysfunctional breathing is very common, affecting at least 1 in 10 patients. It comes in many forms and is often overlooked. Its presence can interfere with treatment outcomes in adults and children patients with a broad range of conditions, yet it is rarely treated well.
Breathing retraining and breathing therapy is coming of age. There is a growing evidence base showing it effectiveness in the treatment of muscular skeletal pain and dysfunction, oral function, disorders of speech and swallowing, sleep apnea, asthma, COPD, stress related issues and chronic pain. It is also a key to assisting patients with somatic syndromes and medically unexplained conditions.
Practitioners who learn to effectively work with breathing gain a unique way to optimize one of the body’s most important functions.

Vestibular & Balance Rehabilitation Series

BPPV Diagnosis & Treatment
Benign paroxysmal positioning vertigo (BPPV) is a very common complaint. Given its prevalence, the lack of expertise amongst health practitioners is surprising. Practitioners trained in vestibular rehabilitation could fill that void and consequently widen their scope of practice.

Movability

This course introduces the concept of movement therapy and performance enhancement to create simple and effective home exercise programs. This course will clarify the ‘why’ behind using balls, bands, rollers, and tape to improve mobility and stability of the body using a joint-by-joint approach. By using movement assessment to determine planar dysfunction, participants will learn how to determine if the dysfunction is primarily a mobility or stability problem. Tools (balls, bands, rollers and kinesiology tape) will be used to tackle an evidence-informed, joint by joint approach to movement and functional rehabilitation.
