Advocacy and Lobbying

Osteopathy Australia works hard to gain professional rights and recognition for osteopaths in Australia through advocacy and political lobbying.

For example, in 2015, on our members' behalf, we attended 172 meetings with politicians, bureaucrats, health funds and other health parties, as well as making 29 policy submissions.

We also endeavour to make our efforts transparent and communicate the outcomes achieved. Please view below some of the lobbying and representation work that Osteopathy Australia has undertaken.
