Osteopathy Australia represents members' interests to governments, regulatory bodies, and other policy makers throughout Australia.
We work to promote and protect the field of osteopathy, and lobby to ensure high clinical standards are established and maintained. We always welcome opportunities for consultation and collaboration, and routinely make solicited and unsolicited submissions on behalf of members. Some examples of our submissions to governments or other bodies are provided below.
We always welcome the opportunity to get osteopaths involved in clinical leadership and representation. You may have an interest or expertise in things like Medicare, DVA, workers compensation, accident insurance schemes or another program. If you are interested in being a part of our advocacy efforts in these areas, then please let us know.
