Graduate membership types

To be eligible for these membership types, you are a recently graduated osteopath, up to three years after graduation, registered or currently applying for your AHPRA registration.

Your year of graduation will determine the Graduate type you are eligible to apply for. Please see conditions below.

There are three membership types in the Graduate category:

Graduate membership - graduated 2023
(Your first year immediately following graduation to 30 June of the current membership cycle)
Graduate1 membership - graduated 2022
(Your first full 12-month membership cycle following initial Graduate membership period)
Graduate2 membership - graduated 2021
(Your second full 12-month membership cycle following initial Graduate membership period)

Membership Fee Table
Conditions
- Currently qualified as an osteopath and registered or applying for registration in Australia
- Current and sufficient Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Committed to the principles of Continuing Professional Development
- Completion of annual Continuing Professional Development requirements
- $165 join fee applies to a new or re-joining member application.
- Osteopathy Australia membership can be cancelled during a membership cycle, but no refunds are provided
- On application for membership with Osteopathy Australia, you:
  - Declare all information submitted to be true and correct
  - Accept that membership does not imply a right to practise in Australia
Further conditions of Graduate membership
- You are in your first year immediately following graduation from a relevant Australian osteopathic degree
- Join as a Graduate member by 30 June of the current membership cycle
- To be exempt from the $165 join fee, you were previously an Osteopathy Australia Student member in your final year of study and joined by 30 June in the current membership cycle
- A $165 join fee applies if you were not a Student member in your final year of study
Further conditions of Graduate1 membership
- You are in the first full 12-month membership cycle following graduation from a relevant degree (after initial Graduate membership type, if applicable)
Further conditions of Graduate2 membership
- You are in the second full 12-month membership cycle following graduation from a relevant degree (after the Graduate1 membership cycle, if applicable)
