Frequently asked questions about your Osteopathy Australia membership.

  • Check that your current membership type is the right one for you.

    If your circumstances have recently changed or are due to change, you can opt to transfer to another membership type during a current membership cycle, depending on your situation.
    You can manage your membership categories online via My Memberships on your member dashboard.

    Conditions for switching membership type:

    • Osteopathy Australia membership can be cancelled during a membership cycle. However, no refunds are provided.
    • When transferring to a membership category of a higher fee, by proceeding, you are declaring you agree to the conditions of your new membership type, along with a pro-rata payment.
    • When transferring to a membership category of a lesser fee, by proceeding, you are declaring you agree to the conditions of your new membership type to grant any pro-rata credit due.
    • A pro-rata membership credit is calculated by calendar month only, based on the date your online declaration is completed.
    • Some membership category changes require evidence of your Professional Indemnity Insurance status in Australia and if requested, must be uploaded online or you agree to authorise Osteopathy Australia to contact your insurer directly, to confirm your personal Professional Indemnity Insurance status.
    • Any membership credit due can be applied to a subsequent membership invoice only, by 31 July of the current cycle.
    • Osteopathy Australia does not offer membership fee refunds and no membership credit will be issued retrospectively.
    • Should a membership lapse, any membership credit will expire immediately after the renewal period has ended (31 July).
  • Manage your membership

    You can renew your membership online each year via Manage My Membership on your member dashboard.
    When the renewal window is open from May to July each year, an orange Renew Membership button will display, to renew.

  • As a renewing member, you can opt to pay by quarterly instalment.

    This option is only available when you renew and can be selected during the online renewal process.
    A $25 annual admin fee applies with your first quarter payment.

    Your quarterly payments are scheduled on:
    Qtr 1: Date you pay your first quarter renewal invoice (in renewal period 1 May-31 Jul)*
    Qtr 2: Early October (auto-processed)
    Qtr 3: Early January (auto-processed)
    Qtr 4: Early April (auto-processed)

    * For inclusion in the Early Bird Renewal Draw each year, payment for your 1st Quarter must be received by 15 June.

    • The first quarter payment is processed by you when you renew your membership online.
    • Quarters two, three and four will be auto-processed by Osteopathy Australia, using the payment details entered for your first quarter payment.
    • To update your payment details, please go to My Invoices on your dashboard.
    • A courtesy email reminder is sent out a week before your next quarterly payment is due to be processed.
       
    • Each quarter, if your payment is not successful, two further attempts will be made to successfully process your payment due.
    • Thereafter, your login will be de-activated and your membership cancelled if your account remains in arrears after 30 days.

    Please note:

    Payments by Direct Debit, Visa or MasterCard are accepted.
    All electronic payments through the Ezypay payment gateway are compliant with taxation standards and PCI DSS. Please rest assured that your sensitive member data is being handled at the highest level of data security and within the law.

  • Renew by 15 June for your entry into the draw!

    To be eligible for inclusion in this year's draw, renew your membership by 15 June.
    Five lucky members will be drawn on 22 June 2023 and will win their membership fee back!

    No additional consideration will be entered into (T&Cs are available on the Renew Your Membership page, displayed from May to July each year).

     

  • The current cycle ends on 30 June

    Your membership ends on 30 June each year, however, a 'grace period' applies for the month of July.

    From 1 August, a $165 join fee applies to re-joining members who have let their membership lapse.

  • 1 July every year

    The standard 12-month membership cycle starts on 1 July and ends on 30 June each year.

  • Osteopathy Australia membership can be cancelled during a membership cycle, however, no refunds are provided.

  • Free and member rates

    • Advertise jobs, locum work, rooms for rent, equipment for sale, CPD courses and events.
    • Advertise via classifieds, eFlyers, website banners and Osteo Life ads.
    • All advertising with Osteopathy Australia is subject to approval.
    • You can purchase an advert via Advertise with Osteopathy Australia.
    • As a member, classified adverts are free to post and broadcast after content has been approved. Go to My Classifieds on your member dashboard to post your free classified advert.
