About this Module
This module and the accompanying resources will give osteopaths an understanding of what mentoring is, its benefits, and the skills and responsibilities of an effective mentor and mentee.
This may sound like a very basic introduction; however, it is important to clearly define the concept and explain what it is and is not, so there is a common understanding of mentoring going forward.
Over the next 6 months, modules and resources will be released on: Induction, Patient Management Soft Skills, Patient Management Hard Skills and Career Development in Clinical and Business Areas.
Through these educational resources, Osteopathy Australia aims to implement a high standard of mentoring throughout the profession, where both mentors and mentees seek out each other, build relationships and feel valued and inspired to grow.
