The presenter:

Barry Nguyen is an entrepreneur, physiotherapist turned software engineer and digital health adviser with over 19 years of experience in creating and scaling innovative solutions that improve patient care and reduce clinician workload. He is the co-founder and CEO of CliniScribe, an AI-driven assistant that automates administrative tasks, manages documents and referrals, supports decision-making, and enables personalised education and treatment plans. CliniScribe was a finalist at the APA PitchFest 2023, a national competition that showcases the best ideas in physiotherapy innovation.

Prior to launching CliniScribe, Barry co-founded HealthAide, a platform that leverages AI for email marketing to support more than 340,000 patients in healthcare clinics across Australia. He also serves as a digital health adviser for the Australian Digital Health Agency, where he contributes expert input on clinical and digital health subject matter, advocates for the adoption of a national digital health infrastructure, and participates in external engagement and education activities. Barry is passionate about career pivoting, continuous education, wellness and productivity. He was awarded the 'Most Influential Asian-Australian Under 40' in 2020 for his achievements and impact in the health and technology sectors.
